Karachi hospital launches advanced vascular suite

Karachi: (Lord Media) The Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Institute of Trauma in Karachi has established an advanced vascular hybrid suite to prevent amputations in patients with diabetes and ulcers. This is the first of its kind in Pakistan, inaugurated by Sindh Health Minister Dr. Azra Fazal Pechuho.

Dr. Azra Fazal Pechuho stated that this achievement is the result of the tireless efforts of expert doctors, providing patients with better and timely treatment. She added that a significant reduction in amputation cases among diabetes and ulcer patients is expected.

The Sindh Health Minister expressed dissatisfaction with the performance of the neurosurgery department and instructed Dr. Sabir to improve it immediately and keep it operational 24/7.

According to Dr. Sabir Memon, the V-Tech Hybrid Vascular Suite is a revolutionary step in vascular surgery, particularly for trauma, diabetic foot, arterial diseases, and other severe threats to limbs.
