Dera Ismail Khan: (Lord Media) During a police operation in the Wanda Budh area of Dera Ismail Khan, terrorists opened fire, resulting in the martyrdom of SHO Faheem Mumtaz and three other officers. According to police, the terrorists attacked while the officers were conducting a search operation in the area. In the intense exchange of fire, a DSP and three officers were injured and were immediately taken to a nearby hospital.
Following the incident, additional police and security forces arrived at the scene, cordoning off the area and intensifying the search operation. Authorities stated that the search for the attackers is ongoing and they will be brought to justice soon.
Paying tribute to the martyred officers, police officials reiterated their commitment to continue operations against terrorism.
